Recording session of the pilot episode of Exemplary Islamic Leadership Series, on Wednesday, 14th December 2022 at the ISTAC Library, International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC-IIUM).

The two guest speakers are:

– Prof Dr Dawood Abdulmalek Yahya Al-Hidabi, Director of IIMU, IIUM

4.45 pm – 5.45 pm with Prof. Dawood – The leadership of Saidina Umar Al-Khattab

This will be the first in a series of documentaries which will formally begin in 2023. The objective of this program is to unearth the historical treasures of great leaders throughout the ages and their leadership characteristics. This program is timely in an era where Muslims in Malaysia and the world over are calling for leaders with competency, integrity and sincerity in serving the people.

This program is an effort to analyze prominent exemplary leadership figures in Islamic history. The format will emphasize story telling mode for easy understanding and interest of the public albeit with a quality content.
